Andrew J. Yu President and C.E.O. Mr. Yu co-founded HLCSoft (formerly known as Harvard Language Company) with the belief that language barriers can be overcome through the proper use of innovative technology. His unique background in the technology and language fields drives his passion to create better solutions for people striving to overcome language barriers. Prior to founding HLC, Mr. Yu was Co-Founder, President and CEO of Online Environs, Inc., an Internet consulting company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, whose clients include Intel, LG Electronics, L.E.K. Consulting, and over 200 others. He also worked for National Semiconductor (US and Japan) and SBC International (Korea). Mr. Yu graduated with honors from Harvard University with a dual degree in Physics and East Asian Studies. He also studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at MIT. Languages learned: Korean, English, Spanish, German, and Japanese.
Jun Nakagawa
Mr. Nakagawa joined HLC to head the Japan Operation. Prior to joining HLC,he worked at the Multimedia Business Department of NTT, Inc. and NTT-X, Inc. based at Otemachi,Tokyo. He specialized in developing new business and integrating banking systems. Mr. Nakagawa graduated from Ritsumeikan University of Kyoto, Japan. Languages learned: Japanese, English, and Chinese. |
